Slicing meat with a regular knife and cutting board is time-consuming and results in uneven slices. With this double-sided board you can easily cut thin, uniform slices that dry evenly. The textured board and pressing plate hold meat securely while you slice. Flip the board to choose 1/4″ or 1/8″ thicknesses.
The kit includes a razor-sharp knife that is longer and narrower than a chef’s knife, making it easier to cut extra-thin slices, and the knife can also be used for slicing roasts and other large cuts of meat as well as bread. The high-carbon stainless steel blade holds a sharp edge and the tip is rounded for safety. Blade extends the full length of the ergonomic handle (“full tang”). Knife inserts into board for safe storage.
Also includes a multipurpose, nonskid Grip Mat to prevent board from slipping during use. Made from mildew-resistant material, it’s easy to hand-wash between uses to kill germs and prevent cross-contamination. Mat measures approximately 18″ long by 12″ wide and can be cut to size as needed.
